United Target Fulham's Wonderkid

Manchester United are trying to move ahead of Liverpool in line to sign Fulham full-back, Ryan Sessegnon, according to reports.
The Daily Mirror reports that United are the current club to have made enquiries about the 16-year-old left-back, who is also being pursued by their neighbor - Man City and including Arsenal.

The youngster is deemed as one of the hottest prospects in English football and has played for England at U16, U17 and U19 level.
Meanwhile, Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp is keen to have him high up his summer wanted list, but United are now also serious about the player, who has played 28 times for Fulham, scoring seven times this season.

Fulham are reckoned to have previously turned down offers from Arsenal, although they might well cash in on the player this summer if the prospective deal involves a loan-back option.

Jose Mourinho does not have a clean reputation of developing young players so the final line of the report is odd.
The piece states United “hope their reputation of bringing through young players will be influential”.
